This story is so stinking cute! Maybe part of why I liked it is because Violet reminds me so much of my cat. Violet is kind of anti-social. She thinks she should be the queen and all others should bow down to her. So when she is adopted by a family who already has two dogs, she is majorly disappointed. It takes some time, and some mean stray dogs, but eventually Violet learns to love her adopted dog brothers. This is a cute story about friendship.
