Hello!! Thanks for joining me! I am an assistant librarian at a local library in Houston, Texas and I’m a student studying Graphic and Web Design at the Art Institute. I have always loved to read but don’t always make the time for it. Since starting at the library, I’ve found SO many books I want to read!! I’ve also found that I can make time to read for pleasure if I want to. So when the new year rolled around I decided to challenge myself to read 365 books in 365 days. I know, crazy right?? So far, it is going well, let’s hope it continues all year long!

I’ve chosen to read all kinds of books, some picture books that are easy to read in one sitting, and some novels that take a bit longer. My goal isn’t to read one book a day, but to at least read a little each day.

One of my classes this quarter is Authoring for Interaction, where we were instructed to create a website. This provided the perfect opportunity to merge my two hobbies: reading and website design! So, this site was born. Here I will be reviewing the books I read throughout the year as well as keeping my list updated. Have a suggestion for me to read?? Drop a comment!!
